Along with the technological requirements to keep going to school
next term, many of us might all be facing food, money and stress during this
time. If you click here you can find a note from the Roadrunner Resource Center that
describes food, internet, and other resources available in Linn and Benton
Counties.

Physics would like help on Friday 23.May 7pm-10pm (training on Tuesday 6.May or Wednesday
14.May):
"Hello Physics Students!
The three department clubs are organizing the 2nd annual Physics &
Astronomy Open House for Friday May 23rd from 7 to 10 PM.
We are trying to gather a small army of volunteers to help with demonstrations,
ranging from simple to dazzling.
We need more volunteers if this event is going to happen.
Getting experience teaching science to the public is a
valuable skill that you can add to a resume for technical communication, and
this would also count towards any needed volunteer hours.
We can work with you based on your comfort level to put you on an activity that
you are comfortable with - nobody will be alone on a demo who doesn't want to
be.
We have some non-outreach work that needs to be done as well, if that's more
your style.
If you can help out, please sign up on the form below, and if possible try to
attend one of the two following training sessions in Weniger
328 (if neither of these work for you, email Max Novack at novackm@oregonstate.edu and
we will figure something out).
-Tuesday May 6th at 5pm
-Wednesday May 14th at 6pm
Thanks!
- Max Novack
